Prime Minister Meles Zenawi recently delivered one of his highly incensed speeches at Mekelle. The speech was delivered on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of TPLF, a regional political group he is currently leading as its chairman. This particular speech was so laden with profanities; it did not take the constituents long to understand that it was actually aimed at vilifying, deriding and provoking the opposition political opponents.

At the same time the website showed us a very discriptive picture of a trafic jam as an illustration for the gridlock.

During the time of being occupied by Abyssinians for the last about 150 years, we Oromo people were "allowed to elect our leadres" under the monarchy of Mekonnen, T., under the military dictator of Mengistu H/M and now under the ethnocracy of Meles Z. We all know what sort of elections we had till now, no need of elaboration about them. Now we are few weeks before we will be "allowed to elect our next leaders".
