Did Houston Texans let Tom Savage re-enter game with concussion?

Posted December 11, 2017

Texans quarterback Tom Savage briefly returned to Sunday's game after taking a vicious hit from 49ers defensive end Elvis Dumervil in the second quarter.

San Francisco kicker Robbie Gould drilled field goals of 52, 35, 25 and 41 yards to aid the cause.

-The 49ers have gone 10 games without scoring a touchdown in the first quarter.

Savage played just one series where he threw two incomplete passes and was replaced by backup T.J. Yates for the remainder of the game. It was his first career 300-yard passing game. Goodwin grabbed six passes for 106 yards which marked his second 100-yard game of the season.

Savage completed 6 of 12 attempts for 63 yards and was sacked twice.

Amazon takes Prime to Apple as Google pulls YouTube from Fire
The slightly iffy bit about the Apple TV is the choice of native apps in the Apple TV App Store, which still isn't all that great. Now everyone can take a deep breath and relax: Amazon Prime Video is only a button click away on your Apple TV device.

Ex-Yemeni strongman Saleh killed by rebels
Unverified footage circulated by Yemeni social media users on Monday appeared to a show corpse resembling Saleh. In a speech late on Sunday, apparently his last, Saleh formally annulled his alliance with the Houthis.

Senators Seek Delay on Net Neutrality Vote
The FCC is scheduled to hold a vote on December 14th over an order to replace and repeal the 2015 rules enforcing net neutrality. That is why I support net neutrality. "No vote should take place until a responsible investigation is complete", she said.

Hopkins finished with 11 receptions for 151 yards and two scores for the Texans (4-9), but his fumble in the fourth quarter resulted in the fourth Gould field goal.

Now suffering a seizure on the field should sideline a player indefinitely, right?

NOTES: Texans LT Kendall Lamm suffered a concussion in the first quarter and did not return. He later left the game and was ruled out for good with what the team announced was a concussion.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien is likely to face tough questioning on why Savage was allowed to return so quickly, particularly in a sport where concussion issues have been so much under the spotlight in recent times.
