CNN corrects report about Trump campaign and Wikileaks tip

Posted December 10, 2017

A now redacted report from the disgraced news network implied the President and his son received a decryption key, or hacked documents regarding the Clinton campaign before being publicly released by Wikileaks.

"Fake News CNN made a vicious and purposeful mistake yesterday", Trump tweeted.

You just knew that after CNN had to correct its botched report on the Trump campaign and organization receiving an email providing access to hacked WikiLeaks documents, President Donald Trump would be all over the network that he has consistently called "Fake News".

President Trump seems not to be relenting on his criticisms of America's famous news channel CNN and this time around the USA president has carpeted the media outfit for a mistake in a recent report on Russian Federation meddling, saying the cable TV network was "caught red handed" disseminating "fake news". "They were caught red handed, just like lonely Brian Ross at ABC News (who should be immediately fired for his "mistake")".

In fact, the email to Mr. Trump was sent a day after the documents, stolen from the Democratic National Committee, were made available to the general public. There are many outlets that are far more trusted than Fake News CNN.

"The new information indicates that the communication is less significant than CNN initially reported", the broadcaster admits.

Bloomberg Admits: We Goofed on Trump-Russia
Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, insisted the Bloomberg report was wrong at her Tuesday press briefing. A source close to Deutsche Bank said the bank had run checks on Trump's financial dealings with Russian Federation .

Ex-Yemeni strongman Saleh killed by rebels
Unverified footage circulated by Yemeni social media users on Monday appeared to a show corpse resembling Saleh. In a speech late on Sunday, apparently his last, Saleh formally annulled his alliance with the Houthis.

Senators Seek Delay on Net Neutrality Vote
The FCC is scheduled to hold a vote on December 14th over an order to replace and repeal the 2015 rules enforcing net neutrality. That is why I support net neutrality. "No vote should take place until a responsible investigation is complete", she said.

Friday's story had initially said that the email was sent to Trump and campaign officials on September 4, 2016.

CNN's Manu Raju went on air to offer a correction on the story over two hours after the Post cast doubt on the flawed report. News reports that the Grand Inquisitor, Robert Mueller, had subpoenaed Trump family records from Deutsche Bank turned out to be false. ABC News suspended Brian Ross, the correspondent who reported that story, for 4 weeks without pay.

President Trump also attacked CNN for the wrongful coverage as he attended a rally in Pensacola, Florida, late Friday.

"Did you see all the corrections the media's been making?"

"CNN apologized just a little while ago". "They've been apologizing left and right. You should have been apologizing for the last two years!"
