In other news relating to the pan-European tournament, London will host seven games after UEFA handed the four fixtures scheduled for Brussels to Wembley.

Belgium's capital city was due to have three group fixtures and one last-16 tie, but delays over a new stadium forced UEFA's executive committee to make changes to the schedule.

Rome's Stadio Olimpico will host the opening game of Euro 2020, Wembley will stage three group matches, a round of 16 game plus the semi-finals and final, while the venue pairings have been confirmed, UEFA said.

Cardiff's Principality Stadium and Stockholm's Friends Arena - the venues for last season's finals of the Champions League and Europa League, respectively - had hoped to pick up Brussels' games.

UEFA are marking the 60th anniversary of the tournament by hosting it in a shitload of cities hence why matches at the Aviva could be on the cards.

Tournament organisers UEFA announced on Thursday that Wembley will stage four more games than previously planned in the tournament which will be played in major cities across Europe. This is in addition to the semifinals and final, which were already set for Wembley.
