The 2017 Glamour Women of the Year Awards held last night, on Monday (November 13) at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, N.Y and new mum Serena Williams was one of the wonderful women spotted on the red carpet.
She made her New York Fashion Week debut in 2014, and has since walked the runway for some of the biggest names in fashion, graced numerous covers of Vogue, co-designed a successful capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, and just recently released a makeup line with Maybelline.
Basically, it was a very chic demonstration of sisterly support.
"Gigi, you are one of the few people on this planet I would leave my baby for-for one night-but for you, it shows how much you mean to me".

However tennis champ Serena Williams, who presented the award to the humble Hadid, said it was the model's hard work and dedication which had led to her stellar rise to success. "And I want you to imagine the affect you have on the world". No matter who you are, or what awards you may or may not win, all you can do is try to empower yourself.
Speaking prior to getting the award, Gigi said on the Today show: 'I mean, I've heard so many good things about the event and every year people show up just to hear what the women have to say and it's always such a powerful and emotional night.
Gigi ended her speech by telling women that they're stronger by celebrating each other.
