Right before the trade deadline at 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills made a blockbuster trade, acquiring wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for 2017 third and seventh round picks. Both previously worked for the Panthers before being hired by Buffalo this year.
In return, Buffalo will give its 3rd and 7th round picks in the 2018 draft to Carolina.
It appears that Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has given Tyrod Taylor a new weapon in the passing game trading for Kelvin Benjamin.
An ESPN NFL reporter also liked the trade on the Bills end.

At 5-2, the Bills see a real shot at making the playoffs for the first time in 17 years (the longest current postseason drought of any National Football League team) and, though Benjamin won't get a lot of separation, he's on his way to another 1,000-yard season.
But Benjamin tore knee ligaments before the 2015 season and returned to something like his best last season, with 63 receptions for 941 yards and seven scores.
Benjamin's base salary for this year is $1 million. He put up a solid rookie season with 73 receptions for 1008 yards and nine touchdowns. Benjamin immediately upgrades the receiving corp of for a team who shipped Sammy Watkins away prior to the start of the season.
Suffice it to say, Twitter had some interesting things to say about this trade. Benjamin caught three passes for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's victory at Tampa Bay. That completed Florida State's flawless 14-0 season.
