Two other police vehicles then blocked the auto in place, and officers managed to get the boy out the auto.
On Thursday morning, a 10-year-old boy was at home waiting for his sister take him to school, just like any other day.
The child embarked on a unsafe joyride along Interstate 90, west of Cleveland, swerving in and out of cars and driving into oncoming traffic, nearly running several vehicles off the road.
"My 10-year-old stole his dad's auto, and he's running from me", the mom told a dispatcher as she pursued the boy in her own vehicle.
Three Westlake officers tried to stop the boy as he drove through Lorain and Erie counties, sometimes reaching speeds of 96 miles per hour. Meanwhile, he was being pursed by officers on I-90. Officers followed the young driver for over 15 miles before he drove through a toll booth and onto the Ohio Turnpike and drove for another 20 miles, Fox reports.

Police closed in and blocked him from re-entering the road; the auto eventually ended in a ditch. The boy's auto crashed into a road sign.
