James Woods responds to Armie Hammer, Amber Tamblyn clap-back

The timeline of events on Monday saw Woods retweeting a jab at the Oscar-buzzing film, about a romantic affair between a 17-year-old boy and his father's 24-year-old assistant in Italy.

Woods responded, saying "As they quietly chip away the last barriers of decency", which OK, everything doesn't have to be about your agenda".

"James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once", the actress wrote on Twitter Monday.

"Shortly after, Armie responded to James" post, "Didn't you date a 19 year old when you were 60.?"

When the at the time teen told him her age, he allegedly said 'Even better'. "Did I offer to take you to Vegas?"

He also tweeted that despite their disagreement, he likes Hammer "a lot" as an actor.
