There was no sign yesterday that Ousmane would not be here today.

Dembele, who has made no secret of his desire to play for Barcelona, may have been trying to break the deadlock with his no-show, Bild suggested.

But manager Peter Bosz says he hasn't heard from the player today.

Dortmund's statement to shareholders regarding Dembele was titled 'Transfer rumours around the BVB (Dortmund) player Ousmane Dembele ', and ended with the club insisting the youngster remained their player.

Following Neymar's world-record €222million move to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona have been heavily linked with big-money moves for both Dembele and Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
