Posted July 17, 2017

Investigators with the Indiana State Police released a composite sketch Monday of the suspect believed to be involved murders of Abby Williams and Liberty German back in February.

Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, were found slain on February 14, a day after the two were reported missing after hiking on trails near Delphi, located about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

The person depicted in the sketch is described as a white man with reddish brown hair, standing between 5 feet, 6 inches, and 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighing 180 to 220 pounds. His eye color is unknown. No arrests have been made in the slayings and authorities have not disclosed how the girls were killed. The man was also captured in a photograph wearing blue jeans with a blue coat and a hoodie.

Until Monday, police had only released two clues - the grainy image below of a man who police say is the prime suspect in the investigation and a chilling recording found on Libby's phone with just three audible words: "Down the hill".
