Rory McIlroy responds to Steve Elkington's claims he looks bored playing golf

Despite a late charge that saw him make birdie on four of his final six holes, Rory McIlroy missed the cut Friday at the U.S. Open, his second-round 71 not enough to overcome a 78 on Thursday. McIlroy, while correcting Elkington's spelling, pointed out that Nicklaus didn't earn much money as a player, hence his golf course design business.

"More like 200mil... not bad for a "bored" 28 year old... plenty more where that came from", McIlroy wrote along with a screenshot of his Wikipedia page showing everything he has won so far in his career.
