Nokia 3310 specifications and final release date in India

Posted April 25, 2017

Ever since then, the Nokia fans have been eagerly waiting to get the device in hand.

Nokia once dominated the mobile industry significantly and Nokia 3310 was the king of all. The report further states that the Nokia 3310 will be available for sale on April 28, 2017. However, the new Nokia phone does not let users upload apps separately, though it supports web browsing. The report said that certain European countries like Norway, Austria, and the Czech Republic were listing the device at around the Euro 59 mark.

Nokia hit the right nostalgia notes when it announced a revamped version of the 3310 feature phone along with its new range of Android smartphones at MWC (Mobile World Congress) earlier this year. As per a report, Nokia 3310 (2017) will be available for orders from May 5 at a price of Rs 3,899.

One can say the aggressive initiative from Nokia is a positive sign with the release of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 Nokia 6, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 smartphone devices all in succession within a span of just a couple of months.

Nokia had a strong hold in India in the past, and should be an ideal market for Nokia 3310 for a majority of population still operating on feature phones. However, Nokia lovers were not "so" excited about these smartphones, rather were more enthusiastic about the refreshed version of the old Nokia 3310. We all know Nokia 3310 was first launched 17 years ago and to keep the nostalgia, the company made a decision to relaunch the device with a new design. Once again, the good news is that the phone will be loaded with Nokia's classic Snake game. The device sports 16MB internal memory with 32GB external storage over microSD card and 2 MP rear camera with LED flash. It has a long battery life and HMD Global claims that it can deliver 22 hours of talk-time, which is 10 times more than the original. It will come in four colors with two different finishes - Warm Red and Yellow with a gloss finish and Dark Blue and Grey with a matte finish.
