Warming Up Into the Weekend

Posted April 14, 2017

This will lead us into a rather stormy week ahead.

As for Easter weekend, a stray shower or storm can not be ruled out on Saturday, with temperatures reaching into the mid-80s. A summer-like pattern continues and this will keep rain chances limited, with temperatures running over ten degrees above average.

As we move through another Spring day, our weather is imitating conditions normally found in Summer.

Temperatures will again start off in the 60s with some patchy areas of fog developing closer to sunrise.

Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies and temperatures near 80 degrees. A few showers will develop in northern coastal counties. Some of these storms could become strong, to marginally severe, with damaging winds and large hail.

Easter Sunday is by no means expected to be a washout. However, the BEST chance for rain on Easter will happen during the afternoon/evening, mainly south of I-70 and along/south of I-70. Monday looks to be the wettest day of the week.
