While the past Mission Impossible movies were all standalone films, the sixth in the series may be more of a continuation, based on returning actors and characters.

Cruise, who is playing protagonist Ethan Hunt in the movie, shot on a rooftop for the stunt that appeared to involve helicopters, reported Mirror.
It was recently revealed that Cruise has been preparing for a sequence in the upcoming film for a year, though it remains to be seen what exactly that scene will entail.
