While Sherman's outbursts last season may have led to Seattle's decision to explore trade opportunities, there's no denying that Sherman has become one of the best players to ever wear a Seahawks uniform. While sometimes you can chalk news like this up to nothing more than rumor mill fodder, both the Seahawks and Sherman have stated a trade could happen.
Plenty of teams are probably willing to give up their first-round pick to acquire an elite cornerback such as Sherman, who has been selected to the Pro Bowl four consecutive seasons and has been selected to the All-Pro first team three times in his career. As for me, I am actually okay parting with the 30th pick for a player like Sherman who can still play at a very high level.
Would you want your team to make such a deal?
Salguero appeared on PFT Live Friday morning, and offered the suggestion Sherman has taken an active role in trade talks.
