While Sherman's outbursts last season may have led to Seattle's decision to explore trade opportunities, there's no denying that Sherman has become one of the best players to ever wear a Seahawks uniform. While sometimes you can chalk news like this up to nothing more than rumor mill fodder, both the Seahawks and Sherman have stated a trade could happen.
Plenty of teams are probably willing to give up their first-round pick to acquire an elite cornerback such as Sherman, who has been selected to the Pro Bowl four consecutive seasons and has been selected to the All-Pro first team three times in his career. The Steelers are a team on the verge of greatness but continue to stare up at the Patriots. For those reasons, it's being said that Sherman will agree to be dealt, but only to a contender.
That seems to be where we are at in this saga right now, and the Seahawks have let it be known that they want an ascending young player and a high pick in this month's draft for Sherman.
All of this is great, but Sherman will come at a steep price.
For the "win now" camp, this is an ideal move. Now we have an idea about what they're looking for in return. I don't see a deal getting done, but if it doesn't, this is probably Sherman's past year in Seattle.

Trump targets Obama aide

Here we go: Mitt Romney exploring a Senate bid in Utah
Back in 2012, Romney, a Mormon, won the state's Republican presidential primary with 93% of the votes. Asked on Friday if he had spoken to Romney about a potential Senate run, Hatch said, "Oh yeah".
As for me, I am actually okay parting with the 30th pick for a player like Sherman who can still play at a very high level.
Would you want your team to make such a deal?
Salguero appeared on PFT Live Friday morning, and offered the suggestion Sherman has taken an active role in trade talks.
So there are multiple factors at play here that likely cause Colts fans to be against trading for him (which is where I would fall too, by the way). Vote in the poll below, and be sure to explain yourself in the comment section.
