Pats star Gronkowski invades WWE WrestleMania

Posted April 04, 2017

The only time Rob Gronkowski will ever be cheered in Florida is at WrestleMania 33. He stormed the ring, got into a three-point stance and buried a WWE entertainer during the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. The tight end interfered during a match on behalf of his real-life friend, WWE wrestler Mojo Rawley. But Mahal's rudeness cost him the match when Gronk himself made a decision to enter the ring and give Rawley a little assistance.

Rob Gronkowski (back) said he'll be "ready to roll" when the Patriots' offseason workout program begins.

In the end, Mojo Rawley was the victor of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Before his Wrestlemania appearance last night, Gronkowski told ESPN he was recovered from back surgery and ready to get back to work. "First off, my first WrestleMania, and see my good friend Mojo in the WrestleMania Battle Royale, it was just an unbelievable experience".

Tillerson says Trump looks forward to enhancing understanding with China
Tillerson was also in Beijing to iron out the details of a tentative summit between Presidents Trump and Xi in Florida in April. The trip follows a string of North Korean missile launches and comes amid fears it's preparing for another nuclear test.

Indian Open: Sindhu to take on South Korea's Ji Hyun in semis
Sindhu tried to force her way back, and at a point of time 13-16 scoreline seemed to make a good contest. "I really played well. The Indian eventually won the game 21-14 - thus setting up a repeat of her Olympic final match with Marin.

'Itty Bitty' guard big in Bulldogs lore after UConn shocker
The Gamecocks prevailed again with a 59-49 victory over Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament championship game in early March. An intercepted pass by Breanna Richardson gave the Bulldogs the chance to stretch the lead, but the Huskies forced a turnover.

And it wouldn't be surprising in the least to find out that head coach Bill Belichick wasn't pleased that his All Pro tight end stepped into the ring, dropped to a three-point stance and delivered a very big (albeit, likely fake) hit to another giant human being.

Now that he's got a taste of it, how long do you think it'll be before until Gronk drops the whole football thing and starts wrestling? That's when Mahal threw his drink at Gronk...who jumped over the barrier and forced his way past security, into the ring!

WWE announced that WrestleMania 33 became the highest-grossing event in the history of Camping World Stadium and broke the stadium's attendance record with 75,245 fans from all 50 states and 62 countries.
