More than 52,000 Ford F-250 gas-powered trucks recalled to keep them from rolling away.

Included in that vehicle were certain 2014 Ford Escapes, 2014 and 2015 Ford Fiesta STs, 2013-14 Ford Fusions and 2013, 2014 and 2015 Ford Transit Connect vehicles all equipped with 1.6-liter GTDI engines. A door that opens while driving increases the risk of injury.

Dealers will replace the defective part for free, but Ford doesn't have the replacement parts yet. It will notify owners once the new parts are available. Moreover, the auto maker had also dismissed 211,000 Lincoln MKZs, Fusions and Fiestas because of latch problems which could have determined doors to open when the vehicle was on the road. This is actually an expansion for an existing recall, which now brings the total count to 757,000 recalls.
