Google Maps Turns into Ms. Pac-Man for April Fools' Day

Posted April 02, 2017

By putting it in the mobile app, you can play "Ms. Pac-Man" on your phone just like any other game. And with games like these on its apps, Google never fails to amaze us.

There won't be as many features as last year's version but it's still fun to play any kind of Pac-Man in any kind of setting, wouldn't you agree?

Open google.com/maps and click on the Ms. Pac-Man box on the bottom-left side of the screen.

The teeth-grindingly addictive video game is slowing rolling out across the world as April Fools' day hits.

So Google announced on Facebook that Ms Pac-Man is a map-eater and you can be one too.

Israel Approves Settlements For First Time In 25 Years

Uber extends olive branch to mend 'frayed' relationships with drivers
Pick-up modifications seem like an easy win for Uber in terms of user experience on both rider and driver sides of the equation. Uber says that it has tested out this feature in several cities and found that this results in fewer cancellations.

Google's April Fools' Day jokes have come to be expected over the years, and this year they haven't missed a step. After clicking on the image of Ms. Pac-Man in the lower lefthand corner of the screen where it says "insert coin", the game evaluates the map and redesigns it into a game level.

Google Gnome, which looks suspiciously like a Google Home wearing a red hat, also claims that it can automate your yard work. While iPhone users get to pick the place they want to go, Android users are automatically taken to a chance place they know nothing about.

Google usually waits until April 1 to roll out its prank.

Of course, in this version of the game, it's impossible to sort easily preict and memorize where to go and when ― because there's a virtually endless number of different maps to play on.

Ms. Pac-Man is a true arcade classic, taking the original hit and making it somewhat more complex and engaging for players.
