Funes Mori out for the season as Everton's injury woes continue

RAMIRO FUNES Mori has added to Everton's injury woes with a knee problem, suffered while playing for Argentina against Bolivia earlier this week, which is set to keep him out of action for the rest of the season.

Funes Mori has made 23 appearances for in-form Everton in the Premier League this season.

Funes Mori left the field on a stretcher clutching his left knee after 36 minutes as Argentina lost 2-0 to Bolivia in a World Cup qualifier in La Paz on Tuesday.

His absence is a blow for manager Ronald Koeman after both Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy were injured while playing for the Republic of Ireland.
