Destiny 2 Poster Leak Reveals September 8th Release

Posted March 27, 2017

Ahead of any official announcement from Activision, we may have gained a whole lot of information about Destiny 2.

A leaked retail store poster may have given away the release date for Destiny 2.

Engadget suggests the game will be released Friday, September 8th in Europe, and a USA release date of Tuesday, September 5th.

It started with the Italian website Lega Network sharing a photo of a poster advertising the game's September release. It is possible, though, that the date mentioned was for the European release of the game.

No. 1 Gonzaga and No. 3 OR advance in NCAA tournament
Everything is possible for a Gonzaga team that looked every bit the powerhouse that many were unwilling to concede them to be. Maybe it caught its break when Williams-Goss and Williams and then Mathews decided that above all, they wanted to win.

Seamus Coleman has surgery on broken leg
The incident occurred midway through the second half when Neil Taylor launched into a high tackle as Coleman attempted a cross. The suspension comes with Wales sitting third in their qualifying group, a position that will not get them into the World Cup.

Wall Street suffers worst day this year
About 8.3 billion shares changed hands in USA exchanges, compared with the 7.1 billion daily average over the last 20 sessions. Advancing issues outnumbered declining ones on the NYSE by a 1.18-to-1 ratio; on Nasdaq , a 1.33-to-1 ratio favored decliners.

Some advertising material has leaked for Destiny 2.

Nearly since Destiny was released, Activision has been talking about building a bigger universe with the release of its sequel.

If the Destiny 2 release date is confirmed today, it could come in the form of the usual Bungie blog post run by community manager David Dague. That said, it's worth pointing out that the poster header carries the same PlayStation blue accent seen around game covers whose publisher has a marketing deal with Sony.

In addition, the poster also implies an early beta access for PS4 players, though that isn't much of a surprise. The developers were most likely waiting to unveil the game at E3 2017 later this yer. There are rumors which say that the upcoming game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and (finally) for PC. The first game only has towns, outposts, and quests.
