Sophie Gregoire Trudeau's Facebook post celebrating men for Women's Day hits backlash

I know Trudeau met industry leaders before his meeting, and we can hope he was smart enough to meet the workers' representatives, as well, and draw from the wealth of knowledge that they have to retain jobs in North America.

But Trump's anti-regulation and tough-on-trade approach could also challenge Trudeau's vision for a clean-energy future and the carbon-pricing plan he says will help bring it about.

"On International Women's Day, let's honor the remarkable women in our lives, and in our history, and today-and every day-let's work together toward as more positive, just, and equal world". "I can get back to celebrating how fantastic men are the other 364 days." wrote one woman. "Together, we can create a movement that inspires more men to join the fight to build a better tomorrow with equal rights & opportunities for everyone ... because * a class="_58cn" data-ft="{"tn":"*N","type":104}" href="https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/equalitymatters?source=feed_text&story_id=1803017733284500" *#EqualityMatters".

In the post, she also asked Instagram users to take a picture holding hands with their "male ally" and share it using the hashtag #TomorrowInHand.

The Toronto Sun reports the speech marked the first time a Canadian prime minister delivered a keynote address to the annual CERAWeek conference, a gathering of global energy industry leaders, experts and government officials. 'Women's day is about women, not men!' "Allies and unity are crucial, but so is womanhood", one woman responded on Facebook.

Arkansas cop asks student to juggle to prove he's not drunk
The junior was driving home from the library late Friday night. "I got the brake light replaced this morning", Puckett said. Puckett offered to perform a juggling trick for officers, who caught the moment on cell phone camera.

"Are you ready to ignite change?" her post said.

The backlash continued on Twitter, where Conservative MP Michelle Rempel said she's "never had to have my hand held". So far, Trudeau's post has received 11,000 likes, while just 3,000 people chose the angry face emoji to express their dissatisfaction.

"Our government without equivocation recognizes and acknowledges the constitutional rights of women and are taking the courageous step to ensure that we remove this from Criminal Code", she said.

"In case you missed it, Sophie, this is International Women's Day".
